This may include designating a focal point to engage with the Secretariat; encouraging the Mayor to sign and disseminate the ACROS Declaration; sharing road safety data and reports periodically; participating in selected activities and peer-learning exchanges; identifying priorities and challenges for tailored support; and working towards measurable improvements in road safety outcomes.
Activities & Technical Support

ACROS supports cities in contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 3.6 on reducing road traffic deaths and injuries; Sustainable Development Goal 11.2 on access to safe and sustainable transport systems; the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety (2021–2030); the UN Decade of Sustainable Transport (2026–2035); and Vision Zero and the Safe System Approach.
Governance & Coordination

ACROS is coordinated by a Secretariat hosted by UN-Habitat and guided by member cities and institutional partners. City leadership plays a central role in setting priorities and shaping the Alliance’s activities.
